image I NOTICED from various news sources today that there are quite a few goodbyes in the headlines, and apart from the sheer coincidence and randomness associated with this it made me stop and think. Of all the goodbyes I read about, which ones did I actually give a crap about? So - who is saying goodbye then? UK Media group Emap today confirmed reports that it is considering a sale of its radio stations in Ireland as it revealed full-year underlying revenue would be down 2 percent with difficult conditions to continue. Despite the tough outlook, the group said trading was in line with expectations, as a good performance from the business-to-business unit offset weakness in consumer media.The group, which owns magazines FHM and Grazia and radio stations Magic and Kiss, said it was considering options for its stations in the Republic of Ireland which include Today FM, FM 104 and Highland, including a possible sale.
